Has to be a steed egg from the same species I believe. Otherwise there are steed dyes on the dono vendor now but I am guessing you have the Hally blue egg and would rather pay for a developed one to feed it the egg rather than train it.

the pet becomes the color that the egg was once you feed it. you dont choose the color, you have to find an egg of the color you want if you want to change your pet's color. The only other option is to dye it now that dyes are on the dono vendor. That only works with meta eggs of the same type and species--Dragons, reptile steed, and mammal steed.This works only once for the color change, or you can choose the color?and feed meat? and work only egg?

most people that have steeds already have relics applied to them, youre best bet is to buy one with relics, your only choice
