Lockpicking Help

can anyone assist me as to why i havent gained even .1 lockpicking within about opening 30+ locked boxes, every single one tells me it quickly yields [which tells me, they aint good enough boxes] i have about 15-20 diff locked box runes but not gaining! my char is at 95.2 skill and at skillcap, but i have got other skills pointing down.... any tips as to where these boxes i need are? :s

First off id like to say dont cry. Second off you have to open certain level chests. Thirdly please dont beg for full runebooks to all chests in game. Fourthly can you let everyone else know that just because you cant gain doesnt mean its broke and to cry and last but not least there is prolly a million threads with people cryig about this. Go read before creating another one. Now for the actual constructive help once you get to 95 the only thig you cant open is max lvl paragon chests. With that being said do some research and find higher level chest spawns and keep piking em. Im still not gm and alot of people say it took em 1000 picks from 95. Another good way is to work a treasure hunter or tag along on t maps. Thats what im doing now. Also advertise free lockpicking and hope people dont have max level paragon chests and ull get gains. Thats what i did

Ok not even going to reply to that first section, mainly because i asked questions not 'cried' also i dont need any full runebooks i most likely have the runes already just dont know it considering im not gaining..

so non max paragon chests will give me locking gains ok good to know, as you mentioned tmaps i assume they also give you gains.. COOL! any type of tmap or just to highest or something?

Is it illegal to make a macro to recall round and open boxes AFK?

I honestly dont know about that legality since you arent looting but im sure it is at least frowned upon but id get a quote from staff before trying as far as tmaps go im not 100% postive but i heard 95 can open them all so try the higher lvls. I belive i was doing fives and sixes other day with a buddy. Just keep picking youll get it

Just be patient and do high level chests. Rune libraries have the Lockpicking runes you need if you don't have them. It takes a long time, just grind it out.

Agree with the just keep picking and you'll get it. I think it took me a few months of casual picking to go from 95 to 100 and did probably pick over 1,000 chests on the way to GM. Seemed like there were days on end where I would not get a single gain. The weird thing was I occasionally I would gain a 0.1 off crap chests too.

Only good thing was I did pull in about 1 million gold and a few thousand reagents just from picking every single chest I could find. But, yes, the gains were few and far between.
