Fishing strategy?

i'm mage/provo/fisher

my strategy is to fight monster with Energy Vortex with provo.

i was wondering if anybody had made successful macro for this. any clue?

Nope you don't wanna do that... Water eleys dispel them with great efficiency .. I think some of the serpents do also. actually most sea spawns dispel them with krakens being the only exception . Seaserps can dispel them but not nearly as often as water eleys. As a fisherman tho you will come across water eleys more often then any other sea spawn.

wait..

you mean they will beat EV very easily? then how should i handle those mobs?

i'm mid 80 of fishing now so never had experience with water mobs but i should be prepared..

Thats is precisely what im saying. Any summoned creatures be it blades, EV's, Dameons etc. are usually dispelled b4 they can do any damage.
you need to really pay attention to the provoking , when doing fishing nets do 2 simultaneously so you get the spawn needed for good provoking. if magery is your only offence then hit with Ebolts and explosions , but Id consider Investing into archery as a damage source.
When fishing up chests you will usually get at least 1 Deep water eley and 1 standard water eley, you really need to be on your toes with provo, I do have a summoned dameon on guard so when the eleys spawn they target it first giving me a chance to set up the provoking b4 it gets dispelled.
