reload fixed it. I'm guessing that japanese updating mangled things :)

I was kind of confused after the install and instead of running the uoflauncher, ran one (or three) of the uo .exes in the install folder and one came up with japanese and starting updating stuff... I'm thinking maybe something was mangled when that happened so I'm downloading the client again.
