Not exactly sure what you mean by "tactics should be modified to prevent potions from splashing." but if you mean that gm tactics is needed to throw potions it would pretty much eliminate stun/alchy as a 1v1 option while keeping alchy dexers as the strongest 1v1 template. Horrible suggestion...

I don't really see a problem with explo pots, everyone and any template can and should use them, just like they should use every other tool in the book, heal pots, cure pots, trapped pouches, a mount and the list goes on. If you gimp yourself out of these tools you will have a bad time.

Like i said, im always down for improving things. But the notion of pvp dying out is just false at this moment. Changing the current scoring system to a scoring system based on damage done and then attaching nice rewards to it is recipe for disaster.

I see the exact opposite. Ever since the removal of the purple cancer, pvp has been slowly recovering to the point where 3-4 way militia fights are now a daily thing.
Maybe you guys have too much nostalgia in you, but factions sucked hard. It was just a system were people would pvp consensually and militia does a lot better job at this and is only getting better.

This is absolutely false. Once people start taking it up a notch in terms of taking score seriously, a solo player stands even less of a chance. Militia is about group pvp so why would you want to diminish the aspect of grouping up?

If you attach actual rewards that ppl want, and purely base it on damage done, you will have an exploit race between some ppl and an ebolt rail between others.
A militia member should always represent their guild, thats the whole point behind it. It would be like factions but without being able to see who is in what faction. Sometimes you want to prioritize some ppl over others for either tactical or grudge reasons.
Especially in a 4 way or bigger...
